Viral Video Ping-Pong II - Yeasayer

The first “return” in what will now become a weekly series on the bigMETHOD blog we call “Viral Video Ping-Pong” - in which Greg and myself attempt to outdo one another with the posting of an incredible low-budget clip.  See the previous post for his “serve”.

This clip from Blogotheque follows the Brooklyn-based Yeasayer into the subway as they rattle off a bone-chilling acapella version of the song “No Need to Worry.”  For an up and coming band with a modest following, it seems clear that the 43,000 views and an unknown number of new fans were well worth 5 minutes of digital video footage, a few subway tokens and 2 Heineken bottles. A great video, and a great display of being truly effective on a budget.
