Playing Street Fighter on YouTube
Long story short: someone has gone ahead and created a way to ‘play’ the legendary video game Street Fighter using YouTube. Essentially, you can click buttons within the video which link to additional YouTube clips that replicate the action (kick, punch, etc.) that you intended.
It’s simply inspiring to see such an innovative use of a video distribution platform to engage users. YouTube is an international phenomenon that is changing the world’s perception of what ‘television’ is. Yet to date, I have never seen this type of choose-your-own-adventure implementation on the site. Kudos to Patrick Bovin , whose channel hosts the videos.
