I love what we do. I wake up and go to sleep thinking about or actually working on work. Don’t get me wrong, I do the other things that matter in my life as well, but I really love work; it is constructive. A few years ago I got rid of my TV because I felt like it was distracting me from doing things that mattered.
Article of Insperation: Morning Has Broken Me
I am not a morning person or a night person in particular… maybe more of an insomniac… but I am not really much of a drinker and have never organized a dinner party. My weekday evenings usually involve business dinners or work-related get-togethers. You don’t realize when you are young how enjoyable doing things like this can be because being constructive, doing work, cannot be fun.
To bring this full circle: I am not saying you need to wake up earlier, all I am saying is why can’t we make adult evening hangouts that are fun, constructive, and don’t involve coffee?
