“I didn’t see you in virtual Mosque today”

I hadn’t heard of Muxlim until about 20 minutes ago, so I am going to assume you haven’t either:

Muxlim is an online community that fosters a friendly environment where users can enjoy fun, compelling and easy-to-use social media services. Our vision is to connect the world’s Muslim communities to each other, and to the wider world, through shared online experiences. Tens of million of users visit Muxlim every year, to enhance their Muslim lifestyle and enjoy a friendly social experience.”

The reason I heard about Muxlim is because they are soon to launch a Muslim-oriented virtual world similar to Second Life, which gives users “the opportunity to wear a hijab, and go to prayer rooms.”

I am not Muslim but I spend a great deal of time on social networks… Do they actually think people are going to get done with a long day of work, go home, power up the computer, and watch a little digital them pray? Is that what the kids are doing these days?
