My favorite song of all time, the one I would want played at my funeral because in many ways it defines who I have aimed to be in my life, is Lynyrd Skynard’s “Simple Man“.

I live a simple life.  I like simple things.  I like things that make my life simpler.

The Internet, even though endlessly expansive, saves countless time on many specific tasks we do daily.  I like the Internet.

Mobile devices, even though they have increased the amount of communication in total, have made each individual communication easier.  I like mobile devices.

I blogged recently in relation to my personal Independence Day, the day when I only have 1 thing that does everything.  Anything that takes a step closer to this day, anything that makes for a simpler life, gets me excited.
